After lunch in Leesburg, Florida we drove to St. Augustine, Fl.

St. Augustine is the oldest permanent European settlement in North America.

There are beautiful buildings and lots of palm trees.

I thought this carved area above the door was beautiful.

Another quaint church as the sun was setting. How do you like my new friend?  

There were churches everywhere. Even the dogs dressed for the day.

Late in the day we left St. Augustine and drove to Savannah.

I do hope to return some day to spend more time in St. Augustine.
