Finally!

Pictures of my new studio.

You better look quick because you will never see it this clean and neat again!!

This is the front corner showing a part of the French door

with my dragonfly mobile hanging in the window.

To the far left you can see the silk fabrics I sell on my website and use to have fun.

Below is a closet used to house fabric, rulers, patterns and STUFF.

Too bad it doesn’t have a door.

And that is my poster from 2002 Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show.

Don’t you love looking at those beautiful wrinkled hands sewing a crazy quilt flag?

 Studio 1

A larger area of fabric storage and a portion of my computer desk.

We finally have my computer working like it should.

My husband was desperate to get it working, he said I could not move back in the office portion of the house.

That is now HIS space. He doesn’t like my paper messes.

 studio 2

My cutting table and my sewing table.

studio 3 copy

My design inspiration board.

studio 3

Book case and fabric storage.

That is Betty Lou front and center. She is all dressed up for a party.

 studio 4

More of the same with a better view of storage.

The pictures on the back wall are framed needlework, I used to have time for such things.

studio 5

Beyond that door in the back is my bathroom and washer / dryer area.

I just want to say that I know how very blessed I am to have such a fabulous area to work.

I do remember working at the kitchen table,

then a portion of the den in one house,

a large closet in one house. Then the boys moved out and I had a bedroom to myself.

When we moved here I had a room that originally was a porch then sunroom.

This is my most coveted room ever and I do appreciate it.

That said I need to get busy and mess things up.

Thank you for coming to visit.

Be sure to read my last post about going to see Martha Stewart if you haven’t yet.

40 women now known as the Sisterhood of Dreamers Into Doers are going to Manhattan to work, play and meet Martha.

I will be blogging and posting on Facebook as I live the adventure.

Please come along for the fun.
