I am very happy to tell you that I am going to have several guest bloggers from the Martha Stewart Dreamers Into Doers Group.

Today I have Carolina Martin, the founding Executive Director of Art On Wheels, Inc.

She writes:

We're a non-profit hands-on traveling art education organization.

Our Instructors take all of the supplies necessary for individuals to express themselves through the visual arts.

We conduct our art classes in so many various venues such as nursing homes, group homes, wedding receptions, anniversary parties, schools, etc., etc., etc.

We also offer art kits which we will design to meet your specific needs, for those who would prefer to simply have all of the supplies with instructions delivered to them.

Our goal is to make it possible for individuals to enjoy experiencing the creative process, wherever they may be.
This is our 20th anniversary! It’s so hard to believe that it’s been 20 years since my Mom passed on.

Mom battled lung cancer over the last 6 years of her life. To maintain her mobility, she drove an electric cart.

On weekly outings, our family attached a wagon to the back of the cart to carry her lunch, oxygen tank, art supplies, and her granddaughter, Julia.

(Julia Garmon is now one of our sister Dreamers into Doers!)

To continue Mom's positive spirit, love of people, faith and passion for the arts,

we use the wagon to carry all supplies needed, for others to enjoy, as we conduct visual art classes.
Already, there are so many extraordinary ways that this group of Dreamers into Doers has had a huge impact on my family and on me. To connect with 40 other fellow entrepreneur ladies is such an amazing opportunity.

Then, to work together to help all of the ladies and children in a NYC women's shelter is such an honor.

And, oh my goodness, to be included with all of the events that Martha Stewart and her staff are planning for all of us as DID sisters, across the nation, is beyond one's wildest dreams.

And then, who would have thought that I would ever have the unbelievable opportunity to take my daughter to NYC, just like my Mom took my brother and me, when I was 11 years old. I just couldn't be more blessed.

Every night, Mom said, "Sweet Dreams" to me. To be able to experience all of this with my daughter, and our husbands, is indeed a gift of many Sweet Dreams come true.

Looking forward to planning our next meeting together to keep dreaming and doing!
Please visit our website, www.artonwheels.us.

It was designed and is maintained by Julia, that's one of her services in her business, The Plaid Pony. www.theplaidpony.net.

We have a new book that I've written and Julia has illustrated and new art kits available.

Actually, the book was recently printed by another DID, Bobbie Bannerman and Catawba Publishing.

We're receiving our first shipment of books today! Please share your feedback.

We love to connect to kindred spirits!

Remember to sign up as one of our fans on Facebook.

Look for us at "Art On Wheels, Inc."
It's an extraordinary realization when I stop to think about this continued journey and the countless individuals who have helped us to help those we serve.

I call you our Art On Wheels' Angels, simply because we couldn't have done all of the inspired teaching that we do without you!

For each one of you and your sincere interest and support, we are ever grateful!
